![]() Forward Taylor Katz "Taylor is a spark plug who is a pain to opposing defenses. She makes dangerous runs and knows how to unsettle defenders. Clever around the box, and links the midfield into the final third really well," commented Fury Director of Football Paul Riley. "It is an important summer in Taylor's development as a soccer player." Taylor plays club soccer for Albertson Fury 92 of the Long Island Junior Soccer League and the Eastern New York Olympic Development Program. At Jericho High School, the National Honor Society member was All-Class A varsity in 2008 and 2009, Most Valuable Player in 2007 and Rookie of the Year in 2006. She describes her best moment on the soccer field as "scoring the winning goal to bring the Jericho High School Girls team to the Nassau County semifinals for the first time in Jericho High School history!" Taylor has already committed to George Washington University for the fall of 2011. She is currently on Jericho High School's newspaper staff and aspires to be a journalist, so perhaps one day she will be writing on this website for the Fury.
