![]() Assistant Coach Joe Marchetta Proving that he's not your average Joe, the 30-year-old Smithtown resident assisted Paul Riley in guiding the Fury to the 2006 WPSL national championship in the team's inaugural season. "Joe is a first-class coach with great human qualities, a wide range of training knowlege and the ability to get the most out of players," commented Coach Riley. "He has been coaching with me for 12 years and he is exemplary in his organizational approach to the game.". Joe played for Coach Riley at CW Post from 1995 to 1998. Since graduation, he has competed for the Forest Park and Glen Cove teams in the Long Island Soccer Football League. Joe describes his best moment on the soccer field as "winning the first of three regional championships as a coach of the HBC Fury," the superb youth team in Huntington.
